LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION for NEW CANADIANS (LINC)  PROGRAMME

Run by JIAS Toronto for Citizenship and Immigration Canada

All  LINC-eligible students (landed immigrants or convention refugees) can apply for participation in this exciting program.

 Winter Semester -- January 6, 2003- March 28, 2003

Spring Semester -- March 31, 2003  - June 27, 2003

Summer Semester  -- July 2, 2003 - August 1, 2003

 These  programs  include:

Full- time classes 25 hours per week with on-site Childminding
bullet

Part-time classes specifically designed for seniors (4 hours per week)
bullet

The opportunity to improve oral and written communication skills
bullet

Self-confidence to talk with potential employers on the telephone and at interviews
bullet

Lunch and Learn Workshops include: Landlord Tenant Matters, Education, Starting a Small Business, and Workplace Labour Laws etc.
